Scott Wilson

Scott Wilson has worked with Artic Building Services for over 8 years. They are now responsible for maintaining all of Scott Wilson’s offices in London and the South East, which amounts to 8 offices in total.

Their responsibilities include not only maintaining general building services such as heating, air conditioning, ventilation, building management systems and domestic water services, but they are often responsible for fire alarms, security and passenger lifts. This is dependent on whether Scott Wilson occupies the whole building or just a proportion.

Artic Building Services maintenance diversion provide either full time resident engineering staff, who carry out day to day maintenance, this occurs at our larger sites; or they visit to an agreed schedule to carryout maintenance. Artic employ specialist engineers or they sub contract depending on the systems that are to be maintained.

Scott Wilson also employ Artic Building Services to carry out an ‘odd job role’ Staff attend site and carry out painting and decorating as well as other odd jobs such as installing shelves, moving floor outlet boxes etc. Larger projects such as installing showers or refurbishing kitchenettes are priced beforehand.

Artic Building Services have also tendered and won competitively projects where Scott Wilson act in our Consulting Engineering role for external clients. On these projects we would recommend Artic Building Services to clients and design teams. The clients they have worked for include:

  • Dubai Emirates Bank

There tendered works include the complete installation of air conditioning, electrical installation and public health services. They have also been responsible for a computer room installation.

We have never had a security issue in any of our buildings, our staff are very happy for Artic Building Services to work out side normal working hours without the need to provide additional security. They are an honourable and trustworthy company.

I have personally found Artic Building Services to be very professional company to work with, they respond to the challenges set, keep to agreed programmes and provide a very clear cost reporting system.
