Artic in the Community
As a company we all donate to these good causes each month with a dress down day or we organise and take part in charity events; our most successful being our Managing Director, Vince McAnallen Running the London Marathon and raising a substantial £7,673.25 for Dreams come True.
Our other charity events have included quiz nights, boot sales, a fireworks night, pyjama day, cake sales, auctions, Christmas wrapping services, Christmas raffles, donations from grand national sweepstakes, lottery syndicates and selling our old mobile technology. When we were approached by Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice for a donation towards obtaining a games console for the hospice family communal area, we bought them a Wii console and Wii Fit Package with games for the patients and their families to enjoy.
Alongside arranging our own events to raise funds we have also supported sporting events which were in aid of The Afghanistan Trust and Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice, where both of our Managing Directors, Richard Tooher and Vince McAnallen, competed in a White Collar Boxing Event and were in the ring against members of the London Fire Brigade.
Overall, Artic have fundraised over £13,000 for our chosen charities and we are keen to keep increasing that figure.
